Welcome to The Rustic

The Rustic is coming to Grandscape in The Colony, and we're building our opening team. Born in Uptown Dallas, The Rustic is a Texas original where live music, wood-grilled food, and ice-cold Texas beer come together under one roof. Guests come for local musicians every night, hand-crafted American favorites like The Rustic Burger and Texas Hot Chicken, premium cocktails, daily happy hour, and family-friendly weekend brunch. Whether it's a night out with friends, a birthday, or a lazy Sunday brunch, The Rustic brings together good food, good music, and good people.

The Role

Our servers bring The Rustic experience to every table. You'll welcome guests settling in for the music, meeting up for happy hour, or bringing the whole family for brunch, and keep the food and cold drinks coming. As part of the opening team, you'll train with us from day one and help set the tone for a brand-new location. It's fast, it's social, and no two shifts look the same. If you like people, move with purpose, and enjoy being part of a crew that has each other's backs, you'll fit right in.

Compensation: hourly wage plus tips.

What You'll Do

•Set up and maintain your section, indoors and on the patio, with attention to cleanliness and presentation

•Welcome guests, share the menu, and recommend food, drinks, and specials based on what they're in the mood for

•Take orders accurately and keep wood-grilled food and drinks moving on time, even during live shows and busy weekends

•Answer menu questions and suggest pairings, add-ons, and a round for the table

•Present checks and process payments accurately

What We're Looking For

•Serving or guest-facing experience preferred, especially in a high-volume or live music setting

•Comfort using a POS system and handling payments

•Friendly, patient, guest-first attitude

•Clear communication and a genuine team mindset

•Attention to cleanliness and safety

•TABC Seller-Server Certification and Texas Food Handler Certification

Physical Requirements

•Ability to stand and walk for full shifts, including patio service

•Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and brunch shifts
