Our legal firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Trust Litigation Attorney to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and challenging trust and estate litigation matters. The successful candidate will be part of a team that handles all aspects of estate planning, probate, conservatorship, complex planning, mitigating tax liability, complex administration, tax, and probate litigation. This is a permanent, full-time position that provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where you will be challenged daily.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Trust Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for:

1. Representing clients in probate and trust litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, undue influence, capacity issues, claims against fiduciaries, and breach of fiduciary duty cases.

2. Providing comprehensive estate planning services to clients, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.

3. Advising clients on complex planning strategies to mitigate tax liability and ensure the efficient transfer of wealth.

4. Handling complex administration matters, including probate administration, trust administration, and conservatorship proceedings.

5. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.

6. Collaborating with other members of the legal team to develop strategies for cases and to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in trust and estate law.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Trust Litigation Attorney position will have:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

2. Admission to the state bar.

3. A minimum of 7 years of experience in trust and estate litigation, including experience with probate, conservatorship, complex planning, mitigating tax liability, complex administration, and probate litigation.

4. Superior analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.

6. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a manner that benefits our clients.

7. A commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining the highest ethical standards.

8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
