Job Details
We are seeking a seasoned trial attorney who genuinely enjoys getting into the facts of a case, developing strategy, and taking matters into the courtroom. This is not a position where candidates need to check one specific practice-area box—the priority is finding a strong, experienced trial lawyer.
The attorney will handle sophisticated defense matters involving catastrophic injury, product liability, construction, property damage, and other complex/high-exposure litigation. Candidates coming directly from civil defense are welcome, but we are also very interested in former prosecutors, AUSAs, Attorney General attorneys, and other government litigators with substantial first-chair trial experience.
Candidates should bring significant litigation experience with the ability to independently investigate and develop cases, conduct and defend depositions, work with fact and expert witnesses, draft and argue substantive motions, develop trial strategy, negotiate resolutions, and take matters through trial. Strong courtroom presence, judgment, writing skills, and client-facing capabilities are important.
This practice handles cases throughout the country, so candidates must be willing and able to travel for depositions, hearings, trials, client meetings, and other case needs. The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term home within a well-rounded firm where they can continue trying significant cases while benefiting from a broader full-service platform.
