Position Summary:

The Sr. Treasury Management Solutions Specialist is a sales-driven role focused on acquiring, expanding, and retaining treasury management relationships to drive deposit growth, product adoption, and recurring fee income. Partnering with Treasury Management Manager, Relationship Managers, and Branch Managers, the Sr. Specialist delivers consultative, tailored treasury solutions by assessing client workflows and identifying efficiencies. The role owns the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and solution design to implementation and post-sale relationship management and consistently meets performance goals related to deposits, product penetration, and revenue growth, with a strong field presence across assigned markets.

 

Work Location & Schedule Expectations

Branch & Market Locations (3–4 days per week):

  • In-market field engagement with branch partners and independently.
  • Outbound prospecting, pipeline development, and follow-up activity.
  • Joint client and prospect meetings with your Treasury Management Solutions Manager, Branch Managers and Relationship Managers.
  • Treasury solution presentations, client needs assessments, and consultative sales discussions.

Livermore Operations (1–2 days per week):

  • Internal partner collaboration
  • Pipeline strategy, reporting, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Training, implementation coordination, and internal meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience

  • Provide best-in-class service that aligns with or exceeds our client experience standards
  • Effectively promote and expand client relationships utilizing the TMS Discovery tools
  • Accurately obtain necessary information and required entity documentation to prepare intake requests
  • Address and resolve client requests in a timely, consistent, and professional manner

Relationship & Building Development Building

  • Responsible for supporting assigned branches and providing additional coverage for teammates as needed
  • Drive profitable client relationship growth by executing targeted business development and strategic account plans, delivering consultative treasury management solutions in close partnership with Relationship Managers, Branch Managers, and internal teams
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales revenue, proposal, referral, and quarterly scorecard objectives while contributing to Treasury Management Solutions and partner goals
  • Manage and review performance metrics, results, and an accurate pipeline reflecting a minimum of 90 days of projected business, with management
  • Actively conduct internal and external prospecting activities, including outbound calling, telemarketing, follow-up, cold calling, and participation in community-based networking and business development events
  • Grow non-interest income and deposit interest income through effective solution placement and client expansion
  • Maintain current knowledge of all Treasury Management products, services, sales strategies, and implementation of best practices
  • Promptly identify and escalate potential fraud, losses, or risk-related concerns in accordance with bank policies and procedures
  • Support the refinement of treasury management sales processes, tools, and collateral to enhance efficiency, consistency, and client experience
  • Assist with Treasury Management Solutions team training related to products, sales strategies, implementations, and emerging best practices

Operations

  • Adhere to and effectively explain all bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements as directed by management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and laws. Perform all operational duties with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Actively prepare for and participate in TMS Huddles, department meetings and training workshops
  • Stay informed of job-related issues, bank promotions, and changes in products, services, policies, procedures, as well as actively participate in industry-related seminars and training classes
  • Stay current on business-related activities in other areas of the bank
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule, including weekends
  • Perform other additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 5 or more years of experience in financial services including a minimum of 3 years’ treasury management or equivalent
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Proven selling and negotiation skills; with an ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions
  • Ability to create strong working relationships with clients, prospects through cold calling new outside business opportunities
  • Prior experience working with Branch Managers and business partners to identify and develop treasury management solutions for clients and prospects or equivalent
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyze prospective clients’ business statements
  • Ability to use various PC and internet-based systems including but not limited to Client Relationship Management System (CRM), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for the role
  • Ability to travel to various locations throughout the assigned geographic territory
  • Ability to work independently and have strong acumen for business and relationship development
  • Ability to walk and stand for outside business development activities
