Your expertise will be crucial in contributing to advanced training content that addresses enterprise-level challenges and aligns with emerging market trends, particularly artificial intelligence.

Through your leadership in facilitating advanced learning experiences and nurturing executive-level communities of practice, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of excellence and strategic thinking at AWS. The advanced skills you impart will directly influence customer engagements at the highest levels, potentially affecting hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue across global industries.

As a senior member of the team, you will have significant opportunities to shape the direction of our training programs, mentor junior and mid-level trainers, and contribute to AWS"s overall enablement strategy. Your contributions will be instrumental in enhancing AWS"s competitive edge by ensuring our senior field teams and leaders are equipped with the sophisticated skills and knowledge needed to drive large-scale cloud adoption and digital transformation for our most strategic customers, ultimately influencing AWS"s position as a leader in AI and cloud technologies.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Deliver advanced global enablement and training programs to support the development of our field organization, front-line managers, and select leader-of-leader audiences and enable them to articulate complex AWS value propositions to line-of-business leaders, C-suite executives, in terms of customer outcomes.

  2. Contribute to the development of new training programs and/or the iteration of existing programs to meet evolving business needs.

  3. Conduct high-impact employee training using a variety of sophisticated instructional techniques and delivery methods, including executive-level coaching, immersive learning experiences, and strategic workshops.

  4. Create engaging and transformative learning experiences in each training class, incorporating innovative strategies and technologies.

  5. Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and leadership to ensure accurate, effective, and strategically aligned delivery of training content.

  6. Provide expert content and class feedback to course developers to drive continuous improvement and innovation in curriculum quality.

  7. Deliver advanced programs that incorporate AWS strategy, mission, and technology with our sales and business development methodologies at an enterprise level.

  8. Guide field team members, front-line managers, and leaders-of-leaders in translating intricate AWS solutions into compelling, enterprise-level business outcomes for customers.

  9. Actively collaborate across the global team to ensure consistency and excellence in program delivery across different regions and formats, while allowing for necessary customization.

  10. Stay at the forefront of AWS services, industry trends, and value propositions to effectively communicate them in executive-level training sessions.

  11. Design and implement innovative post-program activities to reinforce learning and encourage application of advanced skills in real-world scenarios.

  12. Gather and analyze comprehensive feedback from training participants to drive continuous improvement and strategic evolution of program effectiveness.

  13. Demonstrate willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time to deliver high-impact, in-person training sessions regionally, and globally.

A typical day in the life of a Senior Trainer and Coach is dynamic, challenging, and deeply impactful. You might begin your morning by leading a workshop on advanced sales strategies for a group of our senior sellers. Following this, you could spend time analyzing the latest industry trends and AWS service updates to provide talking points for your upcoming training programs.

In the afternoon, you might collaborate with your team to design a new immersive learning experience that leverages AI and virtual reality to simulate complex customer scenarios. Later, you could have a one-on-one coaching session with a high-potential seller, helping them refine their approach to enterprise-level digital transformation conversations.

Your day might conclude with a strategic planning meeting with other senior trainers and WWFE leadership, where you contribute to shaping the future direction of AWS"s global enablement efforts. Throughout the day, you could be mentoring junior trainers, providing expert guidance on complex customer engagements, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what"s possible in adult learning and professional development.
