Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) – AI & Agentic Workflows

Lead the integrated program plan, governance cadence, and RAID log, overseeing the full technology development lifecycle (scope, schedule, change, risk, vendor, and procurement) and delivering an execution-ready Jira hierarchy (Epics → Stories/Tasks) with assignees, dependencies, milestones, and target ETAs. Partner with architects and engineering leaders to review the engineering delivery plan, keeping system design, platform capabilities, and delivery timelines aligned; identify cross-functional dependencies and milestone alignment and begin building the program delivery plan in Jira.

Our client, a Digital Infrastructure company, is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) – AI & Agentic Workflows for their Dallas, TX location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Digital and Innovation Office (DIO), Technical Program Management Office
• Portfolio/Domain Knowledge: Corporate Functions - Finance, People, Legal, Digital Workplace Experience.
• Evolving priorities will require engagement across all Digital strategic initiatives on an as-needed basis.
• Program Execution
• Oversee the full technology development lifecycle (scope, schedule, change, risk, vendors, and financials).
• Proactively manage program dependencies, risks, and cross-team coordination.
• Identify and manage cross-platform architecture dependencies, system integrations, and technical delivery risks across multiple engineering teams.
• Partner closely with architects and engineering leaders to ensure system design, platform capabilities, and delivery timelines remain aligned.
• Discovery & Problem Definition:
• Consult on cross-functional requirements spanning security, legal, compliance, and business process integration, aligning technical execution with strategic business objectives.
• Technical Architecture:
• Consult on the proposed architecture, assessing its cross-functional execution impacts and identifying cross-platform dependencies, system integrations, and technical delivery risks across multiple engineering teams.
• Engineering Delivery Plan:
• Partner with architects and engineering leaders to review the engineering delivery plan, keeping system design, platform capabilities, and delivery timelines aligned; identify cross-functional dependencies and milestone alignment and begin building the program delivery plan in Jira.
• Program Planning & Governance:
• Lead the integrated program plan, governance cadence, and RAID log, overseeing the full technology development lifecycle (scope, schedule, change, risk, vendor, and procurement) and delivering an execution-ready Jira hierarchy (Epics → Stories/Tasks) with assignees, dependencies, milestones, and target ETAs.
• Execution & Management:
• Lead execution by proactively managing dependencies, risks, cross-team coordination, and stakeholder communication; support vendor management and third-party integrations; and maintain the Program Dashboard, Executive Status Reports, Dependency Tracker, and Decision Log.
• Release & Launch:
• Lead launch readiness and the go/no-go decision, collaborating with Program and Portfolio Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget, and within-scope delivery, and delivering the Launch Readiness Checklist.
• Post Go-Live:
• Lead the transition of the program to the Service/Operations team.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
• Engage with DIO and stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and shared accountability across the program.
• Prepare and present updates to DIO executives, stakeholder leaders and lead steering committees and similar forums.
• Prepare and manage communication plans, facilitate and influence decision-making and operating model adoption, and resolve conflicts.
• Governance & Reporting
• Monitor and report program health, milestones, risks, and resource needs using TPMO standards and tools.
• Provide executive-level visibility into program progress, technical risks, and dependency management through structured reporting and delivery dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX standards, and TPMO practices.
• Contribute to progress reporting, risk mitigation, and stakeholder satisfaction initiatives.

 
Requirements:

• We are looking for AI-native Technical Program Managers (TPMs) who are proficient in prompt engineering and hands-on with Rovo, Claude, and other GenAI platforms. Candidates should be able to build AI agents and agentic workflows that automate and scale insights, reporting, and execution management, turning program data into actionable insights and driving faster, more effective execution.
• The ideal candidate brings strong TPM fundamentals combined with the ability to identify, prototype, and deploy GenAI solutions that transform how programs are managed and executed.
• Proven experience orchestrating large-scale technical programs by aligning architecture, engineering dependencies, and delivery across multiple teams and platforms.
• Strong technical fluency in distributed systems, APIs, enterprise integrations, and cloud-based platforms to effectively manage system complexity and technical trade-offs.
• Experience managing complex cross-team dependencies, technical risks, and integration challenges across enterprise systems.
• Ability to partner closely with engineering leaders, architects, and product managers to translate technical strategy into executable delivery plans.
• Skilled in driving program execution through clear milestones, dependency mapping, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience using program metrics, delivery dashboards, and data insights to support decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical programs to both engineering teams and executive leadership.
• Hands-on proficiency with core program delivery tools including Jira, Confluence, and Lucid.
• Demonstrated proficiency and daily hands-on use of AI productivity tools to accelerate program delivery, including LLM-based assistants (e.g., Claude, OpenAI/ChatGPT) and AI agents embedded in the Atlassian suite (e.g., Atlassian Rovo for Jira/Confluence), as well as Microsoft Copilot. Able to apply these tools for automated status and dashboard reporting, backlog and Jira setup automation, meeting/documentation summarization, and AI-assisted risk, dependency, and data analysis.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 8+ years’ experience delivering large-scale technology programs across multiple engineering teams.
• Technical background in software engineering, systems architecture, or infrastructure platforms.
• Certifications such as PMP, SAFe- SPC, RTE, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
