About the Opportunity

A well-established regional CPA and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its growing tax practice.

This is more than a traditional tax management position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become a key business leader within the organization, develop and maintain significant client relationships, mentor tax professionals, and work closely with firm leadership on strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex tax planning, consulting, and compliance engagements
• Review and sign tax returns
• Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients
• Develop and maintain executive-level client relationships
• Mentor and develop tax professionals
• Build new client relationships and expand existing accounts
• Participate in business development initiatives
• Partner with firm leadership on strategic growth
• Lead engagements across multiple industries

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of tax experience
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience reviewing and signing tax returns
• Strong tax planning, consulting, and compliance experience
• Demonstrated client relationship management experience
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing staff
• One of the following credentials:
• • CPA

  • JD
