Well established CPA FIRM is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join its growing team.  Six plus years experience with public accounting, CPA firm

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and other entities
  • Provide tax planning, research and compliance services to clients
  • Review financial statements, general ledgers and supporting documentation
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise clients on tax-related matters
  • Manage client relationships and respond to tax inquiries
  • Assist with IRS and state tax notices, audits and correspondence
  • Mentor and review the work of junior accounting staff
  • Ensure compliance with current tax laws, regulations and filing deadlines

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting

CPA License

6 plus years experience of public accounting with a CPA firm

Experience with LaCerte and QuickBooks

Ability to manage multiple engagements independently and work effectively in a team environment
