Description

CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH | Senior Talent Sourcing & Research Specialist

New York City | Hybrid — 3 days in office
Base Salary: $150,000–$180,000 + potential bonus

I’m conducting a confidential search for a Senior Talent Sourcing & Research professional to join the talent organization of a highly respected, global professional services organization.

This is an opportunity for a strategic, research-oriented talent professional who enjoys going beyond traditional recruiting—using talent intelligence, market research, data, direct sourcing, and workforce insights to influence hiring strategy and build long-term talent pipelines.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will serve as a strategic talent intelligence partner to recruiting leadership and business stakeholders. You’ll help the organization understand where talent exists, how competitive markets are evolving, and how to proactively build pipelines for both current and future hiring needs.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Developing and maintaining strategic talent pipelines aligned with current and anticipated business needs
• Leading targeted direct-sourcing initiatives and developing data-driven sourcing strategies
• Conducting talent market research, competitive intelligence, and workforce trend analysis
• Analyzing recruiting and talent data to identify gaps, trends, risks, and opportunities
• Translating research and data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Building talent maps and identifying hard-to-reach talent in competitive markets
• Partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, and business leaders on workforce planning initiatives
• Serving as a subject-matter expert and thought leader in talent intelligence and sourcing
• Strengthening external talent networks and advancing sourcing best practices

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of cumulative experience, including at least 4 years in talent sourcing, talent research, recruiting, talent intelligence, or a closely related discipline.

We’re particularly interested in professionals who have worked within large, complex organizations and have experience combining hands-on sourcing with strategic talent research and analysis.

Strong candidates will demonstrate:

• Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with proactive sourcing and talent mapping
• Ability to interpret talent-market data and turn it into meaningful business recommendations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience partnering with senior-level stakeholders
• Ability to manage complex, long-term projects independently
• Strong judgment when working with confidential and sensitive information
• A consultative, strategic mindset rather than a purely transactional recruiting approach

Experience in professional services, financial services, consulting, technology, healthcare, or other large global organizations is highly relevant.

A bachelor's degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
