Senior Talent Sourcing Consultant - Nursing

Job Description

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Talent Acquisition team in the role of Senior Talent Sourcing Consultant.

Role Responsibilities

  • Leads the development and execution of innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent.
  • Focuses on sourcing, attracting, and engaging top talent from all backgrounds using various sourcing methods, including Boolean searches, social media, job boards, networking, and community outreach.
  • Researches, develops, and implements recruitment strategies to attract a broad pool of candidates for open positions.
  • Builds relationships with external organizations, universities, and community groups to expand our talent pipeline.
  • Collaborates closely with stakeholders, talent sourcing team, talent acquisition consultants, and hiring managers to develop tailored recruitment strategies, job descriptions, and interview processes.
  • Builds and maintains strong talent pipelines for key roles across the organization.
  • Conducts screening discussions to assess candidates qualifications, skills, and alignment with our values.
  • Maintains engagement with passive candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
  • Tracks and analyzes recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of our hiring initiatives and collaborates with leaders for areas for improvement.
  • Mentors and trains sourcers on best practices and sourcing techniques.
  • Analyzes and reports on sourcing metrics and adjusts strategies as needed to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Stays current on trends and best practices in recruitment and shares knowledge and insights with the team.

Candidate Qualifications Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or equivalent years of experience within a matrixed organization (healthcare setting preferred).
  • 5 years experience in talent sourcing and/or recruitment with a proven track record of successfully identifying and engaging top talent.
  • Requires experience using applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management platforms, and other recruitment tools.
