Join Quest Defense Systems and Solutions supporting advanced aerospace engine control systems for a major aerospace customer in the Cincinnati, OH area. We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with experience in systems integration, requirements management, verification & validation (V&V), and customer collaboration to support both existing products and next-generation engine control programs.

In this highly collaborative role, you'll work across the full systems engineering lifecycle while partnering with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop, integrate, troubleshoot, and improve complex hardware and software systems.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with onsite customer support in the Cincinnati, OH area. Travel up to 50% may be required. U.S. Citizenship is required. Dual citizenship cannot be accommodated.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary systems engineering representative supporting a major aerospace customer.
  • Support the full systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, system integration, verification, validation (V&V), and product support.
  • Troubleshoot engine control hardware and software in laboratory and customer environments.
  • Develop, review, and manage system requirements for new product development.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, firmware, test, and systems engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Support system integration activities and evaluate product performance throughout development.
  • Identify technical risks and recommend practical engineering solutions.
  • Build strong customer relationships while providing technical guidance and product support.
  • Participate in technical reviews, engineering discussions, and customer meetings.
  • Travel to customer and engineering sites to support integration, testing, and program execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another STEM discipline.
  • 4+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
  • Experience with systems engineering processes throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience with requirements development, systems integration, verification, validation (V&V), or system testing.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex hardware/software systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work directly with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
