Senior Systems Analyst (Payments and Core Banking)

Senior Core Banking & Payments Systems Analyst | SWIFT | Fedwire | ACH | SQL | Hybrid NYC | $60-$80/hr

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support and enhance critical banking applications, payment systems, and core banking technologies. This role will work closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders to manage implementations, system support, migrations, and ongoing application performance.

Description

Support, maintain, and optimize banking software applications and critical business systems.

Administer software and hardware implementations under the direction of the IT leadership team.

Manage and support payment platforms including SWIFT, Fedwire, and ACH.

Participate in system implementation, migration, and enhancement projects.

Troubleshoot application issues and provide support to internal users across multiple departments.

Work with database technologies including SQL, DB2, and JBASE.

Support WebSphere, MQ, and related middleware environments.

Ensure systems remain compliant with banking regulations and AML/OFAC requirements.

Maintain strong relationships with software vendors and key business stakeholders.

Profile

5-7+ years of experience supporting core banking systems in a technical and/or functional capacity.

Experience with banking payment systems such as SWIFT, Fedwire, and ACH.

Strong knowledge of banking operations and processes.

Hands-on experience with SQL, DB2, and/or JBASE databases.

Understanding of software development lifecycles and IT service management.

Experience supporting WebSphere and MQ environments.

Knowledge of AML/OFAC processes and related software solutions.

Experience with project implementations or system migrations.

Temenos T24 experience is highly desirable but not required.

Spanish language skills are highly desirable.

Hybrid working arrangement with 3-4 days per week onsite in Midtown Manhattan near Grand Central.
