Designing and building out new features under our Data Engineering Lead. Youll have the opportunity to push best practice cost-efcient architecture and optim ise product delivery processes to ensure that LIFT continues to raise fam ilies up. Key responsibilities The role will involve a diverse range of activities including W orking as a full stack engineer including front end back end CICD IaC and security from m aintenance and bug xes to design and release of new features Advocating for best practices across broad swathes of engineering from m oving the team off Git ow to trunk developm ent building AW S Code Pipelines with Synthetic Canary coverage to package m anagem ent and code quality. Pushing the engineering team growing team m em bers and helping the team as a whole work well with each other and the rest of the com pany Investing in and im proving team skills and practices through co-m entoring pairing code review and leading by exam ple Com m unication stakeholder m anagem ent and relationship building to support an engineering team thats known as a trusted partner for m arketing sales policy & operations and is an integral part of the business Contributing to technical discussions and scoping of work internally and occasionally with clients Ensuring the security of data entrusted to the organisation m inim ising the risk of security breach potential data loss or downtim e and engaging in post-m ortem s and follow-up when things do go wrong or right Your work at Policy in Practice will place you at the forefront of technology in the governm ent space.
