Job Duties: Developing highly specialized software that tests subway train subway systems including brakes, throttle control systems, radios, automatic doors, lighting, HVAC, and other electronic subsystems; Analyzing complex electrical schematics in order to develop test plans that can identify faults to the ambiguity group level; Developing communication interfaces to a variety of highly specialized train subsystems and software that emulates train subsystems behavior; Customizing and configuring ATS-5000 test stations for each customer's unique requirements; Architecting, designing, and implementing software solutions for complex, high- performance systems in collaboration with other engineering disciplines; Analyzing schematics and advising engineers on electronic PCB testing methodologies; Debugging and fixing issues in test program sets (TPS) and test instrumentation; Designing, authoring, and conducting internal and external training sessions and prepare materials for the same. Special Skills or Other Requirements: Must have at least seven (7) years of experience with the following: Schematic analysis and development of test methodologies; TestStand, LabVIEW, C#, Python; Instrumentation (PXI, LXI, and/or GPIB) and instruments like DMM, DAQ, SCOPE, Matrix switching, VNA, Spectrum analyzer, and/or XJTAG.
