Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Sales Manager for a premier full-service hospitality organization. This is a fully onsite opportunity based in Nashville, Tennessee.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Sales Manager will drive group business and revenue growth by proactively developing new accounts, expanding existing relationships, and converting opportunities into definite bookings. This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys prospecting, negotiating, and managing complex group opportunities involving guestrooms, meeting space, and food and beverage. The Senior Sales Manager will work closely with internal sales, revenue, catering, convention services, and operations teams to deliver an exceptional client experience while achieving revenue and room-night goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively identify, prospect, and develop new group business while growing assigned market segments and existing accounts.
• Manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposals, negotiation, contracting, and definite booking.
• Respond strategically to leads and RFPs, developing compelling proposals based on customer objectives, budgets, priorities, and event requirements.
• Conduct sales calls, presentations, site inspections, client entertainment, networking, and industry events to develop relationships and generate business.
• Negotiate guestrooms, meeting space, food and beverage requirements, rates, and contract terms while supporting hotel profitability and revenue goals.
• Partner closely with Revenue Management, Catering, Convention Services, and Operations while maintaining accurate pipeline, account, forecasting, and sales activity information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous hotel group sales experience, ideally within an upscale, full-service, convention, or large-meeting hotel environment.
• Demonstrated success achieving sales goals with strong prospecting, new business development, and account growth capabilities.
• Experience managing complex group opportunities involving guestrooms, meeting/event space, and food and beverage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Experience with Delphi/Amadeus, Cvent, and/or Hilton systems is highly desirable; established relationships within corporate, association, third-party, or other group market segments are a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This exciting direct-hire opportunity offers a competitive base salary of $85,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience, plus a 20% quarterly bonus opportunity. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered.
