District Manager role with the US Enterprise Travel & Hospitality team transforming how the world fly"s, stays, and experiences planet earth.

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing strategic accounts with the Fortune 1000? As a Senior District Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of globally recognizable brands. Your responsibilities will include directly supervising a team of up to ten, while setting the overall strategic direction for a cross-functional team of up to 45. Your strategy will drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. Your leadership will extend to shaping the strategy for partners, professional services, and training/certification. You will develop and execute against a sales district (20-25 customers) strategy and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined district with customers
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive district/territory/account plans
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Hire/Lead/Develop a team, customizing your leadership style to maximize the potential and output of each individual team member
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Accelerate customer adoption
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
  • Facilitate cross functional collaboration, identify and bring specialists to assist when needed.
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Expect moderate travel
