Position Overview:
The Senior Risk and Compliance Data Analyst reports to the Grants Federal Compliance Officer for the Department of Grant Compliance and Administration. The Senior Risk and Compliance Data Analyst performs risk assessment and compliance data analysis, data research, examination, and identification of data patterns and trends to support compliance with federal requirements, enforcement actions, subrecipient monitoring, and complaints. This work is time sensitive and includes data analysis to track and inform on noncompliance actions, corrective action plans, risk assessment activities, federal subrecipient data awards, expenditure, findings, and audit trends. This individual performs highly complex (senior level) data analysis and research work. The Senior Risk and Compliance Data Analyst works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Flexible work location within the state of Texas may be considered for qualified candidates.

Develop Data Reports, Tools and Resources: develops and maintains risk assessment, non-compliance activities, corrective actions, complaints, and subrecipient monitoring data reports, tools, and resources
Ad-Hoc and Special Projects: creates ad-hoc and special projects as assigned, including but not limited to, data projects related to public information requests, complaints, risk assessment, corrective actions, investigations, and other referrals
