Property ManagerAn exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of retail and mixed-use assets across a growing real estate platform. Reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management you will oversee operations, financial performance, tenant relations, capital projects, and property-level strategy while enjoying significant autonomy and visibility within the organization. Key responsibilities include:Lead day-to-day operations across multiple retail and mixed-use properties.Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor services.Manage tenant relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for operational matters.Prepare operating budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and ownership reporting.Oversee Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations, tenant billings, collections support, and expense management.Review and interpret lease provisions, ensuring compliance with key dates, escalations, and lease obligations.Coordinate capital improvement projects, tenant improvements, and major property initiatives from planning through completion.Known for its entrepreneurial culture and collaborative environment, the company provides direct access to leadership, meaningful ownership exposure, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on portfolio performance. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.For the Property Manager we are seeking:Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Property Management, or a related discipline preferred.3-7+ years of commercial retail property management experience.Hands-on experience managing shopping centers, grocery-anchored retail, open-air retail, power centers, or retail-focused mixed-use assets.Strong understanding of CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Ability to independently review and interpret commercial leases.Experience managing vendors, service contracts, maintenance programs, and capital projects.Strong tenant-facing communication and conflict resolution skills.Proficiency with MRI, Yardi, RealPage, or similar property management systems.Highly organized, accountable, and capable of operating independently with minimal oversight.Demonstrated problem-solving ability and an ownership mentality.What's on offer:Competitive base salary targeting approximately $110,000 to $130,000 depending on experience.Direct reporting relationship to senior asset management leadership.Meaningful exposure to ownership, budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision-making.Opportunity to oversee a diverse portfolio of retail and mixed-use assets.High-visibility role within a lean and growing real estate platform.Strong long-term career growth potential.
