Job Details

This position owns full cycle accounting for three large Class A office campuses in Southern California, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the Controller.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle property accounting for three large commercial office assets, including monthly, quarterly and annual close.
• Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules and ownership reporting packages.
• Maintain the general ledger, prepare and post journal entries, and complete bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review CAM reconciliations, including annual true ups and tenant billings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for assigned properties.
• Partner with asset management, leasing and property management teams on reporting and operational questions.
• Support the conversion from MRI to Yardi Voyager, including data validation and process documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property accounting experience within commercial real estate.
• Direct experience preparing CAM reconciliations for commercial office, industrial, retail or medical properties.
• Working knowledge of MRI or Yardi Voyager.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage close deadlines across multiple properties.
• Able to work onsite five days per week in Costa Mesa, CA.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
