    Senior Project Manager

    Location: Remote, Raleigh, NC

    Duration: 12 Months

    Job Overview:

    Seeking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact business operations projects. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and state agencies to ensure alignment with strategic priorities using recognized project management methodologies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage all components of business operations projects.
    • Develop comprehensive project management plans, including scope, requirements, and schedules.
    • Apply project management methodologies to monitor and control project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
    • Implement change management processes to track and incorporate project changes.
    • Oversee project resources and team activities, ensuring alignment with project plans.
    • Provide regular project reporting for stakeholders.
    • Utilize domain knowledge in finance, contracts, and staffing to support project alignment.

    Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination:

    • Coordinate with internal and external partners, including vendors and state agencies.
    • Provide project management oversight of vendors to ensure compliance with business operations and contractual requirements.
    • Serve as a central point of contact across organizations for efficient coordination and planning.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, business administration, project management, or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience managing Medicaid or health IT technical projects, or equivalent education and experience.
    • Ability to develop, manage, and monitor integrated master schedules and project budgets.
    • Knowledge of vendor management and contract deliverables.
    • Experience leading projects using waterfall, agile, or hybrid methodologies.
    • Proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Workday, or Monday.

    Must-Have Skills:

    • 7 years of expertise in finance, contracts, staffing, and communications to clarify requirements and advance process maturity.
    • 7 years of experience in providing project management oversight of vendor implementation projects.
    • 5 years of experience in developing integrated project plans and managing scope, schedule, requirements, risks, communication, and change control.
    • 3 years of experience in providing regular project reporting, including progress, risks, blockers, and decisions for stakeholders.
