Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will report to operational leadership and take full responsibility for the successful delivery of major commercial construction projects. This position requires strong client-facing skills, leadership capability, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion and handover
  • Managing project budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and risk mitigation plans
  • Negotiating and administering client and subcontractor contracts
  • Ensuring project safety, quality control, and operational compliance standards are maintained
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractor partners
  • Supporting business development efforts, including identifying and securing new project opportunities
  • Mentoring and developing project teams while ensuring successful project execution and closeout

The successful applicant will have:

  • 10+ years of experience working for a commercial general contractor
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale commercial construction projects, ideally valued at $50M+
  • Experience managing projects under Construction Manager at Risk delivery methods
  • Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and quality management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to new business opportunities
  • Experience managing multiple project teams and mentoring project staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered
  • Experience within sectors such as mission critical, healthcare, higher education, multifamily, industrial, office, government, hospitality, or life sciences is advantageous
