    Pay Range: Targeted salary of $55,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience and education

    Position Introduction:

    The Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost seeks a Senior Program Coordinator to coordinate and oversee academic initiatives. Exceptional organizational abilities and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.

    Duties:

    • Awards.
      • Coordinate annual faculty awards process for OU Norman Campus.
      • Review nomination materials for accuracy and completeness prior to distribution to evaluation committees.
      • Serve as staff coordinator and support for faculty award evaluation committees.
      • Prepare documents and support materials to facilitate the annual award process.
      • Maintain the faculty awards website for Norman Campus.
      • Work closely with units and stakeholders to facilitate the annual award ceremonies.
      • Manage the honorary degree award process for the Provost's Office in Norman, (scheduling meetings, drafting documents, etc.).
      • Provide programming support for the staff and graduate student awards sponsored by the Provost's Office.
    • Communications.
      • Create, update, and distribute memos and forms from the Provost's Office to campus stakeholders.
      • Manage the Provost's Office memos and forms deadline calendar.
      • Update information on the Provost's Office website.
    • Councils and Committees.
      • Maintain committee rosters for university councils and committees.
      • Coordinate with Faculty and Staff Senates to fill vacancies.
      • Transmit changes in committee membership to stakeholders 
    • Administrative Support.
      • Provide administrative support for the Provost's Office: schedule meetings, research issues, prepare documents, answer phones, assist with travel arrangements, and perform other organizational tasks for the Office.
      • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

    Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
    • Must be detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
    • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
    • Willingness to work closely with campus leaders and partners across campus to manage projects and solve problems.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • 48 months of related experience.

    Equivalent/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree to equal 96 months of related experience.
