Senior Product Owner - Bethesda, MD (Remote)

Seeking for a Senior Product Owner to manage innovative and emerging products within the Hotel Operations and Guest Service Products Team. This role involves collaborating with business partners and engineering teams to maintain a well-groomed product backlog of feature enhancements with refined user stories ready for development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate management skills and leadership in a highly matrixed environment and must be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders on numerous competing priorities.

Must Have:

• 7 years' experience in information technology application design or development
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 4 years' experience as a product owner or product manager
• Ability to explain product vision, business objectives, and technical feasibility
• Experience with Agile Development methodology and tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SmartSheets
• Strong project management and process management skills

Preferred:

• Familiarity with hospitality industry applications and processes
• Ability to manage and work with on-shore and off-shore service providers
• Familiarity with Self-service Kiosk
• Graduate degree

Core Work Activities:

• Maintain a well-groomed product backlog of features with refined user stories ready for development
• Define new product features and optimizations of existing ones
• Support the definition of guest service product requirements
• Coordinate testing, acceptance, and delivery of enhancements
• Provide technical expertise and support
