Overview

LABUR is partnering with a client to find a Senior Product Manager who will serve as an experienced Product Owner, defining and delivering strategic outcomes across key product areas. This role shapes product strategy within its domain, aligning roadmaps to the mission of expanding access to private markets. The Senior Product Manager demonstrates product leadership without direct authority, setting the standard for discovery practices, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder trust.

Responsibilities

  • Own a product area or multiple related feature sets, driving measurable business and customer outcomes
  • Lead strategic product discovery by testing hypotheses, validating opportunities, and embedding compliance considerations from the start
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear, well-prioritized product roadmaps that balance short-term delivery with long-term vision
  • Serve as Product Owner, ensuring effective backlog prioritization and alignment to goals
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with design, engineering, operations, compliance, sales, and customer success to ensure adoption and impact
  • Mentor and coach Product Specialists and junior PMs, modeling best practices in product discovery, delivery, and stakeholder engagement
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in private markets and regulated entities, becoming a go-to resource for peers and partners
  • Represent the product area in cross-functional forums and leadership reviews, clearly articulating tradeoffs and impact

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy within a complex domain
  • Skilled in framing problems, defining success metrics, and running experiments to validate solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, gaining trust across teams through data, storytelling, and credibility
  • Deep understanding of private market participants, including investors, companies, and intermediaries
  • Awareness of regulatory and compliance implications with a proactive approach to collaborating with legal and compliance teams
  • Experience mentoring and elevating junior product managers and specialists
  • Track record of delivering strategic product outcomes that drive customer adoption, engagement, and satisfaction

Compensation

$90-100, dependent on experience
