Their vertically integrated platform provides employees exposure to both development and construction operations, creating a unique opportunity for career growth.Job DescriptionLead preconstruction efforts from conceptual budgeting through project turnover to operationsPrepare conceptual estimates, detailed cost estimates, and project budgetsCoordinate design development and value engineering activitiesDevelop pricing strategies and competitive project proposalsParticipate in client presentations, interviews, and project pursuit meetingsBuild and maintain relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and industry partnersSupport business development initiatives and help secure new workAnalyze drawings, specifications, schedules, and project risksCoordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing effortsWork closely with project management and operations teams during project handoffProvide market intelligence, cost trends, and strategic planning recommendationsServe as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the preconstruction processThe Successful Applicant5-10 years of preconstruction experienceProven success managing preconstruction efforts on commercial construction projectsExperience helping win work through client interaction and relationship developmentStrong presentation and communication skillsComfortable participating in client meetings and project interviewsExperience preparing budgets and conceptual estimates for projects ranging from approximately $10M-$50M+Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, and pricingAbility to collaborate effectively with operations, estimating, and business development teamsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredWhat's On OfferBase Salary: Up to $160,000Discretionary Annual Bonus (averaging approximately 10%)Comprehensive Benefits Package401(k)PTO and Paid HolidaysLong-term career growth opportunitiesStable backlog and strong pipeline of future work
