Senior Preconstruction Manager - Charlotte

We are seeking a Senior Estimator/Preconstruction Manager to lead budgeting, estimating, and preconstruction efforts for large-scale commercial construction projects throughout the Carolinas. Description

The Senior Preconstruction Manager - Charlotte will be responsible for:

• Leading preconstruction and estimating efforts for large-scale commercial construction projects from conceptual budgeting through final pricing.
• Collaborating with project teams, owners, architects, engineers, and executive leadership to developing accurate estimates and project strategies.
• Evaluating plans, specifications, scopes, and subcontractor proposals while identifying cost-saving opportunities and project risks.
• Managing bid processes, subcontractor outreach, and pricing exercises to ensuring competitive project delivery.
• Supporting CM at Risk (CMAR) and negotiated project pursuits through developing budgets, value engineering solutions, and cost models.
• Partnering with operations teams to ensuring smooth project transitions from preconstruction into execution.

Profile

The successful Senior Preconstruction Manager - Charlotte will have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Estimator, Preconstruction Manager, or similar estimating leadership role.
• Experience estimating large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or possessing equivalent industry experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional project teams.
• Experience with CM at Risk (CMAR) project delivery methods as a significant advantage.
