Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Global Payroll Manager to support and oversee payroll operations across multiple regions, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for a global workforce spanning North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. This role will partner cross-functionally to manage payroll activities, resolve issues, and support ongoing international growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily payroll operations and approvals across US and international payroll (19 countries)
- Review and approve off-cycle payrolls and special payments
- Manage payroll inbox and ensure SLA adherence and timely resolution of escalations
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payroll issues and ensure compliance
- Prepare and review payroll reports, reconciliations, and audits
- Support global payroll projects and process improvements
- Stay current with international payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
Must-Have Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in US and global payroll operations
- Strong knowledge of multi-country payroll, tax, compliance, and reporting regulations
- Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll (US and/or Canada)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading or supporting payroll teams
Industry Experience:
- Experience in fast-paced, global organizations with multi-country payroll operations
- Exposure to scaling or high-growth environments preferred
- Background in Accounting, Finance, Business, or HR (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
- Experience with CloudPay, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office is a plus
