What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who can oversee management of all operations in our fast-growing Temecula market (Temecula, Murrieta, and Fallbrook, California). You’ll be responsible for managing a team responsible for property management, branding, supply chain, local guest services, maintenance, vendor relations, and housekeeping. The position requires excellent communications, team planning, and  project management skills. You will contribute to evolving business strategies and tactics and will be responsible for implementing those strategies and tactics in your market. As our Senior Operations Manager, we need a self-starter who leads by example and creatively solves problems. You must be capable of thinking big-picture as well as the day-to-day and be willing to roll your sleeves up when necessary. You will also serve as our brand ambassador for the Temecula market and instill a passion for delivering exceptional guest service and experiences. 

Must be located in Temecula or Murrieta area.  (This is a hard requirement - Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Pala, etc. are too far away for consideration).  

Job Description

  • Manage our asset turnover process. Conduct periodic inspections of vacant homes for guest-ready conditions.
  • Inspect properties to guarantee the highest brand standards are maintained, evaluate maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping operations.
  • Review/audit property administrative and maintenance areas to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Resolve guest experience issues when needed.
  • Provide operational insight to owners and respond to owner requests.
  • Participate in property financial performance and provide review and feedback for monthly owner statements.
  • Lift, move, unpack and do the more “unglamorous” side of supply chain support for properties.
  • Prioritize, execute, and delegate.
  • Prepare and conduct meetings as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring...

  • 2+ years of managerial experience in the short term rental industry (preferred) or property management, hotel or equivalent hospitality industry.
  • Hospitality experience (required).
  • Highly responsive and reliable.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Project management experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of property mechanical systems like HVAC, pool systems, and well systems (preferred). 
  • Self-starter mentality.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for the vacation rental industry.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Reliable car, a valid driver's license, and the willingness to travel regularly within the designated area.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform manual tasks. 
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
