At Valley Mountain Regional Center, we're seeking a highly organized and dependable Senior Office Technician- Foster Grandparent & Senior Companion Program (PT). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting volunteers and contributing to a meaningful community-based program.
What You'll Do:
Payroll and Timesheet Processing
You'll process payroll using Excel, add and verify hours on volunteer timesheets, and create accurate timesheets for stipend processing.
Maintain Volunteer Records and Systems
You'll update and maintain volunteer information to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. Compile and reconcile information reports.
Support Communication and Mailings
You'll mail out reminders for in-services and other important program information, and prepare outgoing correspondence as needed.
Prepare Materials for In-Services and Events
You'll print in-service packets, name labels, address labels, and prepare envelopes for distribution and mailing. Plan, order and set-up/clean-up for in-service events. Prepare minutes for Advisory Council Meeting.
Support Attendance and Documentation Tracking
You'll create sign-in sheets for attendance tracking and stipend receipt documentation.
Assist with Volunteer Onboarding
You'll prepare binders for new applicants, including required forms, signatures, and program expectations. Assist in orientation for the volunteers.

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Three (3) years of increasingly responsible office experience required
Associate's Degree (A.A.) or business school certificate may substitute for one year of required experience
Knowledge of office procedures and practices required
Strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading abilities
Be patient and able to work with senior citizens
Experience with word processing and data entry methods
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including:
Excel
Word
PowerPoint
Outlook
Access
Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute required
Previous experience in specialized clerical functions such as telephone reception or word processing may be required
