Job Profile: Senior Multi-Tenant .NET Backend & Integration Engineer
This is a hands-on backend engineering role for a developer who will build and deploy a multi-tenant SaaS application on AWS. You will write high-performance APIs using C# and .NET that communicate with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and various external client data sources. You do not need to perform network-level coding; instead, you will collaborate with DevOps and Network Engineers to guide infrastructure setup, test hybrid connectivity, and troubleshoot cross-network data access issues.
Core Responsibilities
• API Development & Data Integration: Design, code, and optimize secure multi-tenant APIs using C# and .NET Core that dynamically query and aggregate data across Amazon DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and varied external client data sources.
• Technical Guidance: Provide clear architectural requirements to DevOps and Network Engineering teams regarding application infrastructure needs.
• Integration Testing: Collaborate with network and infrastructure peers to validate secure backend connections to external client data centers.
• Cross-Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose, isolate, and debug end-to-end data routing issues between the AWS-hosted API and remote external databases.
Required Technical Skills
• Languages & Frameworks: Expert-level C#, .NET Core
• Data Stores & Integration: Deep hands-on experience with Amazon DynamoDB, PostgreSQL (Entity Framework Core or Dapper), and writing abstract data access layers to query heterogeneous external data sources.
• SaaS Multi-Tenancy: Real-world experience implementing application-level tenant isolation, data partitioning, and tenant context middleware.
• Hybrid Networking Concepts: Solid conceptual understanding of VPCs, AWS PrivateLink, and firewalls to effectively guide networking peers.
• DevOps Liaison: Basic familiarity with cloud infrastructure deployment (Terraform, AWS CDK) to streamline pipeline integrations.
Qualifications
• Experience: 5+ years of active, hands-on backend development building distributed systems on AWS.
• Communication: Strong collaborative skills to translate complex application data requirements into actionable tasks for infrastructure teams.
