Our client is a full-service Design and Build contractor that serves customers across numerous industries throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. In this position, the candidate will be working as part of their subsidiary team, a Mechanical/HVAC, distributed energy, and project-delivery solutions provider.

They are looking for a Senior Engineer with extensive expertise in mechanical and plumbing design, responsible for leading the engineering efforts on key projects. This role includes managing project activities and collaborating directly with clients.

* Lead engineer for assigned projects as the Engineer-of-Record
* Manage schedules, budgets, and day-to-day communication for the projects
* Communicate with the design team, account managers, estimators, construction team, and client
* Prepare detailed and accurate fee proposals and engineering budgets




Must have 4+ years of experience and be on the way to obtaining a PE License
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field of study
Expert knowledge of building codes and standards
Must have expert knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, controls, and process/industrial systems (HVAC)
Must have experience using AutoCAD and Revit
