POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Residential Module Sales Enablement, to join the Residential Solutions Department (RBO). This role drives module sales execution and strategic planning across the U.S. residential solar market by translating policy, regulatory, market, and value-chain developments into actionable sales enablement and commercial guidance. 

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of U.S. residential solar regulations (especially FEOC, DCA, tax credits, trade, and domestic content) and understands the impact on modules, batteries, TPO financing, installer economics, and channel execution.

This position is onsite in San Francisco and reports to the Head of Residential Planning & Ops.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain sales enablement materials (policy briefings, competitive narratives, product positioning, FAQs).
  • Monitor and interpret U.S. solar policy and regulatory developments (FEOC, DCA, tax credits, trade, domestic content).
  • Translate policy and market changes into commercial guidance for Sales, Planning, Product, EnFin, Axia, and leadership.
  • Support module sales planning by aligning demand, pricing, product mix, channel strategy, and partner economics.
  • Develop sales messaging and commercial playbooks to articulate module value proposition.
  • Identify risks and opportunities across customers, states, channels, and product types.
  • Provide market intelligence and policy updates to internal stakeholders and HQ.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives across modules, batteries, and TPO/loan financing.
  • Prepare executive-level summaries and decision-support materials for leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, public policy, energy or related field.
  • 7+ years’ experience in solar, renewable energy, energy policy, sales enablement, or commercial planning.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. residential solar market (installers, dealers, distributors, TPO/loan financing, module/battery sales).
  • Strong knowledge of solar policy and regulatory drivers (FEOC, DCA, tax credits, domestic content, trade/tariffs).
  • Ability to translate complex policy into actionable sales guidance and business recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; experience with leadership-level materials.
  • Ability to work onsite in San Francisco and cross-functionally across time zones.
  • Professional-level English fluency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Korean language (for HQ communication).
  • Experience with modules, batteries, and TPO/loan financing models.
  • Experience working with HQ, global product, policy, or legal/compliance teams.
  • Familiarity with key markets: CA, TX, FL, NJ, MA, IL, PA.
  • Experience with market intelligence, policy tracking, CRM, and sales data tools.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPP, or similar).
