Senior Maintenance Technician IV

Our client, Industrial is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician IV to join their team. As a Senior Maintenance Technician IV, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting manufacturing, laboratory, and utility operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently while maintaining compliance in a regulated environment—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Hercules, CA

Pay Range: $45-50hr

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing, laboratory, and utility equipment to keep operations running reliably.
• Maintain and support industrial refrigeration systems, including cold rooms, freezers, laboratory refrigerators, and ultra-low temperature storage units.
• Troubleshoot and maintain lyophilizers, vacuum systems, compressed air systems, cooling towers, chilled water systems, pumps, and RODI water systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, instrumentation, and control system failures using technical documentation and analytical methods.
• Coordinate contractor activities, maintain accurate maintenance records and calibration documentation, and support audits and inspections through strict adherence to established procedures.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline preferred.
• Minimum six years of progressively responsible maintenance experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Demonstrated expertise in industrial refrigeration systems, diagnostics, and repair, including experience with lyophilization equipment and vacuum systems.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation; working knowledge of cGMP documentation and compliance requirements.
