Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer for their Jersey City, NJ/ Hybrid location.
 
Requirements:

• Cobol
• CICS
• DB2
• More than 10 years of hands-on development experience with strong proficiency in mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, EZYTRIEVE, IBM DB2, VSAM, MQ, NDM/SFTP file transmissions, and SORT.
• In-depth knowledge of IBM IDZ Mainframe Emulation Software and IDZGit source code management.
• Strong understanding of scheduling software used in the Bank’s batch processing environment, such as Control-M.
• Experience writing and optimizing batch jobs, stored procedures, and online transactions.
• Experience performing code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and GitLab.
• Good-to-have knowledge of financial products such as InvestOne or similar platforms.
• The ability to apply application expertise to quickly diagnose and resolve issues while maintaining client service level agreements.
• Experience using AI tools such as Windsurf, Devin, and Claude to develop solutions is preferred.
