Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Solutions Architect for a Contract with a client in Culver City, CA (Remote). The ideal candidate is responsible for architecting, designing, and leading the delivery of scalable, secure enterprise Java solutions while driving technical strategy and stakeholder engagement.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Java Solutions Architect Job Responsibilities include:
Architect, design, and oversee the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance Java-based enterprise applications and microservices.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to onshore and offshore development teams, ensuring adherence to architecture standards and best practices.
Collaborate with customers, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Lead solution design reviews, code reviews, performance optimization efforts, and security assessments across the application landscape.
Drive end-to-end delivery of software projects, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Promote Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, cloud adoption, and continuous innovation while maintaining architecture documentation and technical roadmaps.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field. A master's degree is preferred.
12+ years of progressive experience in Java software development, solution architecture, and enterprise application delivery, including leadership responsibilities.
Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, Angular, SQL Server/Oracle, and enterprise application design.
Proven experience leading distributed development teams, driving cloud-based solutions on Azure, implementing CI/CD and DevOps practices, and engaging directly with customers and senior stakeholders on enterprise architecture initiatives.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $68.00 per hour
