Senior Java Developer

Design, code, test, debug, and document data interfaces and reporting solutions; enhance existing data extracts and reports to meet evolving business needs. - Assist with implementation and maintenance of data extracts, ETL batch jobs, and reports for NC FAST Case Management System using Curam Software and Oracle.

Job Summary (List Format):

- Provide business and systems analysis, modeling, design, and Java programming for FNS/SNAP development and maintenance using ORACLE and Curam technologies.
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of data extracts, ETL batch jobs, and reports for NC FAST Case Management System using Curam Software and Oracle.
- Analyze and identify reporting requirements and implement solutions for data of mid to high complexity.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document data interfaces and reporting solutions; enhance existing data extracts and reports to meet evolving business needs.
- Gather and document requirements for new and existing data extracts and reports.
- Develop complex SQL queries (including CLOBS/XML) and supporting data structures for efficient data extraction and report generation.
- Analyze and optimize existing queries and reports to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Develop and analyze operational performance metrics and reports, ensuring data quality and integrity via validation and audit strategies.
- Provide 24x7 On Call support/rotation as part of operational responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to interpret requirements and develop diagnostic/tracking reports and dashboards.
- Utilize knowledge in Java, J2SE, J2EE, XML, XSL, Oracle, ETL tools, and relational database modeling.
- Design and develop dashboards using Power BI and other Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Business Objects or BIRT).
- Apply structured system development methodologies and participate in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development processes.
- Lead and mentor team members, taking ownership of deliverables and fostering a sense of urgency and partnership with customers.
- Organize, prioritize, and follow complex technical procedures independently.
