We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong Big Data expertise to support enterprise application development, platform modernization, and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and large-scale data processing. This role involves developing scalable applications, optimizing data pipelines, and collaborating with multiple technology teams to implement target architecture and strategic platform solutions.
9+ years of end-to-end Java application development experience.
Strong Core Java skills, including Multithreading, Collections API, JDBC, and Java profiling tools.
Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and software design fundamentals.
Experience in performance tuning, profiling, memory optimization, and application scalability.
Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, data integration, and transformation.
Strong knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, or Flink.
Experience with real-time streaming, batch processing, and API-based data ingestion.
Hands-on experience loading and managing large datasets in Hadoop and implementing complex processing logic using Spark.
Ability to optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and scalability.
Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
Must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
