An established Texas litigation defense firm is seeking an experienced insurance defense attorney for its Dallas office to handle a docket of defense matters on behalf of insured clients and carriers.

 

Responsibilities

- Manage a docket of insurance defense matters from intake through trial

- Develop case strategy and report to clients and carriers

- Take and defend depositions, and argue motions and dispositive motions

- Try cases and handle mediations and settlement negotiations

 

Requirements

- Approximately 10 years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience

- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas

- Significant deposition, motion, and trial experience

- Strong client and carrier relationship skills

 

Compensation and benefits

Work arrangement

Full-time, in office in Dallas.
