At Episcopal Community Services (ECS), employees work with participants who may be experiencing homelessness, behavioral health conditions, substance use challenges, and other difficult life circumstances. While this work is meaningful and mission-driven, it can at times be stressful, demanding,or unpredictable. Employees are expected to exercise sound judgment, remain aware of their surroundings, follow established safety, communication, and de-escalation procedures, participate in all required trainings, and promptly report incidents, threats, injuries, or unsafe conditions, in accordance with ECS policies and procedures.

External Candidates: $52.00/Hour - $53.00/Hour
Internal Candidates: $52.00/Hour - $53.00/Hour Based on Longevity
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Senior HR Generalistserves as a key point of contact, as part of a team of HR professionals, for complex employee relations and human resources administration processes, monitoring the full employment cycle for an assigned client group.
Working from a solutions-focused and compliance-minded framework, the position holds a depth of knowledge in the Human Resources field, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of local, state and federal regulatory labor law as well as internal policies and Union labor contract.
This role demonstrates strong collaborative partnerships with all stakeholders and works to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive, safe and productive relationship inside the department and across the organization. The role demonstrates enthusiasm and warmth in greeting, assisting, supporting and fielding all staff requests no matter how big or small. This is an on-site customer-centric position working in our HR offices that fosters a welcoming environment for staff, consistent with our open-door policy.
