Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr

Job Overview:

The organization is seeking an experienced Python Developer with a strong background in healthcare applications and enterprise software development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions that support healthcare business processes, data integration, analytics, and cloud-based applications, while operating effectively in agile development environments.

Mandatory Areas:

  • 8+ years of experience in Python development.
  • 6+ years of experience in RESTful APIs.
  • 6+ years of experience in microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices for healthcare platforms.
  • Develop data processing and integration solutions using Python and SQL.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS for application deployment and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards, data privacy, and security regulations.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks.
  • Strong SQL and database design skills.
  • Experience in API development and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, health insurance, claims, provider, member, or clinical systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, or EDI transactions.
  • Experience with data analytics, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
