Opportunity Overview

As a Hardware Circuit design Engineer, you will be responsible for concept-through-production design of analog and mixed-signal instruments for automated test equipment.

The engineer will perform a variety of complex activities covering the design of new products, investigating customer-reported problems for root cause evaluation, and implementing improvements in design, test, and/or operations.

  • The candidate will have 10+ years of experience as a circuit design engineer, with experience designing digital and analog board-level circuitry.
  • Design expertise in Op-amp based circuitry, Signal Conditioning, Filters, Stability, Compensation Networks, Control Loop.
  • Working familiarity with High-Speed Design techniques.
  • Expertise in switching power supply design, and related noise, crosstalk issues on multi-layer PCBs, and measurement techniques.
  • Experience with high-power signal delivery methods
  • Knowledge of Thermal & Mechanical fundamentals
  • Relevant PCB layout experience to guide CAD personnel
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, ADS, Ansys)
  • Strong communications skills. Ability to work with geographically dispersed multifunctional teams is important
  • Desire to take on project ownership
  • Proven ability to inspire junior engineers
  • Self-Starter
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
  • BSEE, MSEE or equivalent

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $141,040-$226,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
