Senior Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect needs 8 years experience architecting and implementing GCP cloud solutions.

Senior Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect requires:

AWS Certified: AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with minimum of eight years of experience architecting and implementing GCP cloud solutions.

* Google Certified: GCP Solutions Architect Professional certification.

* Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex migrations with multiple stakeholders.

* Experience with GCP cloud technologies and migration strategies.

* Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Deployment Manager, Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

* Experience with GCP DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.

* Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* ITIL Foundations certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Deep understanding of GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, etc.) and their integration.

* Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with automation frameworks.

* Experience delivering IT services in support of a biomedical research environment.

* One or more of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS.

Senior Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect duties:

* Help users conceptualize and design comprehensive GCP solutions, providing guidance on resource allocation, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud architecture blueprints for enterprise applications and workloads.

* Evaluate and recommend the most suitable GCP services and configurations for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

* Design scalable and resilient cloud solutions that meet workload owners specific requirements.

* Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like GCP Deployment Manager and Terraform.
