Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world class candidates to develop relationships and manage the success of our Data, Analytics and AI ISV partners. As a Partner Development Manager within AWS, you will have the exciting opportunity to build mind share and adoption with some of AWS's most strategic ISV business partners.

Responsibilities will include managing strategic relationships with our key Data, Analytics and AI partners and driving C-level, Product Team, Marketing, Field and Channel relationships. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and driving partner plans with each assigned partner, you will be responsible for increasing top line revenue growth and overall market adoption of these ISV solutions running on AWS. This is a global role, ensuring AWS and partner business success in both domestic and international markets. You will possess both a partner background that enables you to drive successful partnerships, engage at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables you to easily interact with enterprise customers and AWS sales/field reps. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. The position also requires a strong technical acumen, along with working knowledge of the Data, Analytics and AI technology and consulting services landscape.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage a select group of new and existing global ISV partnerships to define and execute partner plans, joint sales and Go to Market (GTM) programs.
  • Serve as a key member of the Partner and Business Development teams in helping to deliver the overall Analytics and AI partner strategy.
  • Create and deliver a strategic partner development plan for target partners and customers, and ensure it"s in line with the AWS Analytics and AI strategy and achieves partner goals.
  • Set and manage partner targets and work with the partner and extended AWS BD/sales organizations to achieve/exceed goals.
  • Engage assigned partners field sales organization, channels and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities for AWS.
  • Work with the Analytics and AI Category Managers to execute the strategic business plan by engaging and leading key internal stakeholders (e.g. solutions architects, services teams, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.).
  • Establish AWS as the ISV"s preferred cloud computing partner across all product and service lines.
  • Work with CRM systems, reporting and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics for tracking purposes. Strong requirement and experience using AI tools for this purpose
  • Prepare and give business reviews to AWS and Partner senior management team.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the AWS teams including strategic deal, direct end user sales, legal and finance groups.
