The ideal candidate will have experience in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury defense. This role offers meaningful hands‑on litigation experience, exposure to high‑profile national clients, and the ability to take on substantial responsibility from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolutionWork closely with partners and colleagues in a collaborative, team‑oriented environmentHandle all aspects of litigation, including trial preparation, investigation, court appearances, mediations, and depositionsProvide timely case updates and strategic guidance to clients through regular reporting and direct communicationQualificationsJD from an ABA accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in California8+ years of defense litigation experience, preferably in Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, or TransportationExceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skillsProven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver outstanding serviceExperience with client‑facing responsibilities and managing complex matters is highly valuedAbility to integrate into a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environmentLegal project management experience preferredFirst chair trial experience a plusWilson Elser offers a competitive salary and benefits package designed to support our attorneys professionally and personally. Compensation is determined by experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Final salary may be outside of the range based on other reasons.
