Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a newly-established team supporting financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis across the organization. This role will work extensively with financial data, analyzing annual rates and corporate support costs to help business sectors understand financial impacts and make informed decisions. The ideal candidate is an analytical, personable professional who enjoys working with data, building relationships, and helping develop processes and structure within a growing team.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and reporting related to corporate support costs and annual rates.
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, financial risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
- Evaluate annual rates and cost allocations to determine appropriate charges to business sectors.
- Partner with finance teams and internal stakeholders to provide financial analysis, answer questions, and communicate recommendations.
- Support contract compliance by analyzing contract terms, rate escalations, and financial obligations.
- Build and improve reporting, dashboards, and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and visibility into financial results.
- Help establish processes and reporting structure for the new team while supporting special projects and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related experience.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large data sets.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Power BI experience strongly preferred; SQL and accounting experience are a plus.
