Title: Credit Risk Business Analyst

Location:  Charlotte, NC
Position Type: Contract

Pay Range:$65.00-$70.00 Per Hr

Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Risk Technology team. 
The role is based in Charlotte, NC, and is a contract position. 
The ideal candidate will work with stakeholders across Risk, Data, and Technology teams, ensuring data integrity and supporting strategic initiatives. 
Experience with database technologies and a deep understanding of credit risk processes are required.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for credit risk data and analytics.
Perform data mapping between source systems and target models, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Conduct data profiling to assess data quality and support remediation efforts.
Write complex queries to extract, analyze, and validate data from various databases.
Support the development and enhancement of credit risk models by providing high-quality data inputs.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, with 3 years focused on credit risk.
Strong proficiency in database query languages and experience working with large datasets.
Hands-on experience with data mapping, profiling, and data quality tools.
Solid understanding of credit risk concepts and regulatory frameworks.
