Manage clinical trial finance, including site budgets, investigator payments, and clinical trial accruals. Prepare regular reporting for investors and the Board, and coordinate ESG data collection and reporting. Manage intercompany invoicing and support transfer pricing documentation with our European group entities. Support the annual audit, federal and state tax filings, sales and use tax, insurance renewals, and other compliance requirements together with external advisors. Prepare management presentations and ad hoc financial analyses. Administer payroll and benefits (including annual open enrollment) with our PEO. Support recruiting as the U.S. team grows and help build scalable HR policies and processes. Manage vendor contracts and support other projects as needed. Requirements and skills: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA or MBA a plus. 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, controllership, or finance. Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP; experience working intercompany accounting is a plus. Experience in the medical device or life sciences industry, ideally with clinical trial finance, is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of U.S. payroll and benefits administration; HR experience is a plus. Hands-on attitude, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to learn quickly. Ability to deliver accurate, reliable results under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders, international colleagues, and external partners such as auditors, banks, and investors. Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with accounting/ERP systems and payroll/HR platforms is a plus. Authorization to work in the United States. Ability to work on-site in Minneapolis and travel occasionally to Europe.
