    Description

    DCS is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the NSWCDD B30 Electronic Warfare and Spectrum Operations (EWSO) mission. This position will lead systems engineering activities for Navy EW and combat systems, including requirements, architecture, interfaces, modeling and simulation, integration, test, and certification. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise and a demonstrated ability to solve complex system-level problems.

    Required Skills:

    Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

    Bachelor or higher degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering, engineering, systems engineering, mathematics or physical science plus 15 years of experience in engineering and systems engineering applied to Navy/Joint warfighting systems.

    Active Secret Security Clearance. 

    Demonstrated experience and knowledge in solving complex technical problems in the design, development, and system integration cycle, Test and Evaluation, power and cooling solutions, command and control architectures, digital and analog systems, signal generation related to environment, Radar Systems Engineering Principles, and control systems with the platform.

    7 years of professional experience in research, development, test and evaluation.

    Demonstrate experience in the following areas:

    • Systems engineering processes regarding weapon systems requirements/concept development, weapons systems design/engineering, systems computer program development, integration, test, and certification processes (safety and system), information assurance, safety and engineering requirements, model based system engineering, simulation development, and ability to use and populate model based system engineering tools (Magic Draw/Cameo, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS®), etc).
    • Military standards/instructions, interface development, architectures, states & modes, functional flow diagrams, and engagement sequencing.
    • Requirements definition, traceability, verification, generation of system performance, system specifications, system architecture development (functional, physical, behavioral), and definition of system interfaces, conducting system trade studies, and generation of functional requirements.
    • Developing, designing, integrating, maintaining and testing Electronic Warfare Navy/Marine Corp systems.
    • Modeling and Simulation of related threats, EW systems, and engagement methodologies/kill chains.
    • Combat system integration and system architecture.
    • Agile methodology.
