The role offers meaningful visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to shape outcomes on high-impact initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including EPC, construction, design, subcontractor, and vendor contractsAdvise internal stakeholders on a broad range of legal, risk, and compliance mattersPartner closely with business leaders to provide practical, solutions-oriented legal guidanceManage and resolve disputes, including claims, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation, in coordination with outside counsel and insurersProvide counsel on labor and employment-related issues and disputesSupport corporate governance, regulatory compliance, insurance matters, and enterprise risk initiativesCollaborate cross-functionally with HR, Compliance, and other teams on policy interpretation and legal requirementsHandle inquiries and matters involving government agencies (e.g., labor and employment regulators, workplace safety, etc.)Contribute to M&A, financing, and other strategic transactionsAdvise on a range of additional matters including emerging issues in technology, software, and IP, as neededIdeal Candidate ProfileJ.D. required; active bar membership in good standing (Texas or another U.S. jurisdiction)5+ years of legal experience, with a strong focus on construction and/or EPC projectsDemonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex construction and commercial agreementsBackground that may include both law firm and in-house experience is highly valuedStrong business acumen with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindsetExcellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholdersProactive, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
