    How Youll Make an Impact Supervise controls engineers and other staff. Assist engineers to identify areas for technical and career development. Partner with manager to develop engineering department through leadership training and continuous improvement. Manage several on-going projects concurrently including staffing workload issues and meeting project timelines. Design controls equipment to meet customer requirements. Responsible for leading cross-functional technical teams throughout the lifecycle of various projects. Assists with the successful management of assigned programs as they relate to cost quality timing and customer satisfaction.     What Youll Bring Bachelors degree in electrical engineering related field or equivalent experience calculated as two 2 years of relevant work experience for each year of academic study OR an associates degree with 2 years of related experience. 10 years of related experience 2 years leading technical projects Knowledge to lead others and positively influence engineers development and progression. Breadth and depth of experience with automation products services and the industry. Ability to identify systemic issues to improve department efficiency.

    Other Details Travel up to 25 to customer sites & other JR locations. Current or prior JR Automation or experience in the automation industry is strongly preferred. Present to colleagues and company management. Lead teams and influence project direction and progress. Serve as a technical expert and leader in the department.
